Meet the Team

Our founding dentist Brandon did not follow the typical path to become a dentist. In 2003, Brandon graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.Sc. in Commerce and worked for many years as a sales consultant for dental implant manufacturers in both the United States and Australia. Though Brandon immensely enjoyed the collaborative relationship with so many talented clinicians, he dreamed of treating patients himself. Already living in Melbourne, Brandon completed his dental training at the University of Melbourne. He worked for a time in both Melbourne and Tasmania before permanently relocating with his family to Launceston in 2016.

Brandon’s exposure to oral surgery and dental implants through his sales career evolved into a keen interest in surgical procedures and techniques, exodontia, and oral implantology. Brandon has heavily invested both time and financial resources to extend his training with continuing professional development courses ranging from theoretical to cadaver and live patient surgery. He has had the great fortune to observe some of the world’s most respected clinicians in live patient surgery. Brandon co-directs the local study club for the International Team for Implantology with our local periodontist. He is also the Tasmanian State representative for the Australasian Osseointegration Society. Beyond just surgery, Brandon is enthusiastic about all things dentistry, and is active in the Tasmanian Dental Association

Dentistry keeps Brandon very busy, but not as busy as his three adorable and spirited little girls, Bronte, Violet, and Harper. A myriad of sports and other activities dominate the nights and weekends for Brandon and his lovely wife Jasmin, but they still find time for lots of camping and discovery of the great outdoors. Tassie offers treasures untold for a family like Brandon’s.

Originally from Argentina, Dr. Luna is fluent in Spanish, French, and English. Graduating in 2012 he brings a wealth of dental experience to our team.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Sciences and is driven by a lifelong passion for helping others. Dr. Luna is drawn to the intricate blend of science and artistry in dentistry, and his care philosophy is centred around patients and their families. He places great importance on clear communication and empathy, ensuring every patient feels supported, informed, and confident in their care.

Inspired by Tasmania’s breathtaking landscapes and peaceful lifestyle, Dr. Luna has made it his home alongside his family. Outside the clinic, he enjoys immersing himself in nature, playing guitar, and singing.
A devoted food and wine enthusiast, he balances his culinary passions with an active, outdoorsy lifestyle.

My name is Trish Parry, I bring over 35years of experience as a dedicated dental hygienist. I am deeply committed to promoting lifelong oral health through preventive care and patient education. I’ve always believed that knowledge is just as important as treatment—helping people understand dental health empowers them to make informed decisions which in turn leads to better dental health outcomes and overall well being . 

Throughout my career, I’ve worked with patients of all ages and backgrounds, creating a welcoming, compassionate environment where comfort and trust come first. Staying current with advances in dental hygiene allows me to provide the highest level of care while tailoring each experience to the unique needs of the individual. 

Outside of work, I enjoy a balanced life that includes yoga, reading, and quality time with family and friends. I’m also the proud (and admittedly indulgent) owner of a rescue dog named Elsie, who never fails to bring joy to my day. 

As the practice’s dedicated Oral Health Therapist with adult scope, she is committed to keeping smiles bright and healthy. Think of her as your smile’s regular mechanic: she provides professional cleanings, gum treatments,  restorations, and personalized hygiene plans to prevent problems before they start.  

When she’s not at work, you’ll find her kneading, and baking sourdough. (Let’s just say we *loaf* taste-testing her latest creations!) 

With over eight years of experience in the dental industry, Brooke brings a perfect blend of professionalism, warmth and efficiency to our clinic. Known for her kind nature and positive outlook, she ensures that every patient feels welcome and everyday runs smoothly for our team.  

As the heart of our operations, she’s passionate about creating a supportive environment for both patients and staff. Her attention to detail and genuine care shine through in every interaction.  

Outside of work, Brooke is a proud mother to her little boy and starts each day with her favourite morning ritual – coffee in hand and a smile ready to go.  

With over a decade of experience in dentistry from Europe, Yona brings a wealth of expertise and enthusiasm to our practice. She is passionate about learning and growing in various fields of dentistry and is dedicated to delivering excellent patient care while continuously expanding her knowledge and skills.

Currently nearing the completion of a master’s degree in public health at UTAS, she has developed a deep understanding of creating preventive frameworks and interventions aimed at improving oral health outcomes in Tasmania. She is committed to reducing disparities between communities and adapting her knowledge to meet Australian guidelines and standards, driven by her goal of making a meaningful impact in the field.

Outside of work, she is a proud mum of two energetic boys. She loves traveling the world, embracing new cultures, landscapes, and cuisines. Exploring Australia has been a highlight of her journey, and she finds immense joy in the breathtaking beauty of Tasmania’s natural landscapes.

With 4 and a half years of experience in dentistry, she’s our go-to multitasker—balancing patient care with behind-the-scenes magic to make sure everything flows smoothly. 

Danielle is all about making your experience smooth, simple, and stress-free. With her warm and approachable personality, she ensures you feel fully supported and confident from your very first enquiry through to your final follow-up. As the friendly face across all general and complex dental procedures, Danielle is here to guide you every step of the way—always ready to answer questions, offer reassurance, and help make your visit as comfortable as possible. 

Outside the practice, she’s always on the move either running marathons or spending time in the gym – when she does find spare time she loves to spend quality time with her family and always looking to have her next holiday booked!  

Sharni is a dedicated and qualified Dental Nurse who completed her Certificate III in Dental Assisting through Trusted Smiles. Since joining the team, she has gained valuable experience working alongside Dr. Brandon Krapf and Senior Nurse Ella, both in surgical and general dental settings. 

Eager to grow in her career, Sharni is a keen learner who constantly strives to expand her skills and knowledge across all areas of dentistry. Her enthusiasm, attention to detail, and strong work ethic make her a valued member of the clinical team. 

Outside of work, Sharni is an adrenaline enthusiast. She enjoys racing cars, riding motorbikes, and embracing just about anything with speed. She also holds a black belt in Jujitsu—a true testament to her discipline, dedication, and drive in everything she pursues. 

Nadia joined the Trusted Smiles team in June 2024 as a trainee dental assistant and became fully qualified in April 2025. Since then, she has become a valued member of the team, contributing to both patient care and the smooth running of the practice. 

While she enjoys working chairside and supporting clinical procedures, Nadia has a strong interest in the administrative and marketing side of dentistry. She assists with clinical admin, patient coordination, and brings creativity and enthusiasm to promoting the practice. 

A devoted mother, Nadia loves spending quality time with her family and enjoys relaxing days at the beach. Her positive attitude, organisation, and attention to detail make her a great all-rounder, helping ensure patients feel supported from start to finish. 

With over three years of experience as a dental assistant, Sophie is dedicated to ensuring that each patient feels comfortable and well cared for during their visit. She finds great satisfaction in helping patients achieve their best dental outcomes and loves being part of a team that contributes to their overall health and confidence.  

Outside of the practice, Sophie enjoys spending quality time with family & friends and exploring her local farmers market.
